Nyren totaled 46 points (11 Goals, 35 Assists) in 69 Games, and 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) in 4 playoff games for the Kamloops Blazers. From all accounts, he converted from forward to defense, and is a skilled puck moving D; understandably he's a bit raw in his own end (probably more from a lack of experience) but he's worth a look in my book.

I think they want this Nyren kid to play for them in the Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, MI, this fall. I didn't see his name on the "Development Camp" roster.
