Maybe the Wild should petition to move to the Eastern Conference. At this rate (10-1-1 I think) we'd have home ice wrapped up through the playoffs with 40 games to go.
The run continues; we're now 3-0-1 in our past 4 (man we really got hosed in that Detroit game, and its a pain in the ass because you can't just say undefeated) and now we've gone to Boston and slayed (ok scored a power play goal and shut them down) the Beast of the East (twice.)

We all know that Boston is high scoring, and they got tons of young talent, and they got two very good goalies, one of which is Manny Fernandez. It's not hard to remember how much of a douchebag Fernandez was in Minnesota, and it was evident when John Shipley and Mike Russo tried to get an interview from him.

Anyways, who knew Blake Wheeler had that much dangle? Christ, he looks like twice the player he was at the U. The Wild did a did job bottling up the neutral zone, and limiting the space for players like Marc Savard (his shorthanded chance is overrated,) Phil Kessel, David Kreijci (sp?), etc. Niklas Backstrom does deserve heaping praise, since on occasion he did make a huge save for his 2nd straight shutout.
Flyers tonight.
