#10...In Phoenix (supposedly)..."Wayne Gretzky"
Dear Gary Bettman, or to whom it may concern;
How in the hell can you possibly have not one, but THREE untelevised games, on a Saturday no less? Unacceptable. And for being a supposed "tech-friendly league", the games couldn't even be found online. This is complete bollocks.
Thanks a chunk,
Dan
Anyways, I guess there is some proof of a Wild victory in Phoenix last night; or at least that's what Mike Russo and John Shipley are saying. Yes its a win, and it snaps a terrible two game losing streak, but the downside is that Brent Burns was scratched after warmups after somehow getting hurt, and then Tomas Mojzis, his late late late replacement, was hit by a slap shot and sent off too. These, along with Marian Gaborik's phantom injury, Owen Nolan's reoccuring bit, and the absurd new "Don't Ask Because I Won't Tell" injury policy by the Club, makes us all go "hmmm". The latest is that Burns will play in San Jose (which will be a freaking snoozer, considering the Sharks just shut down Pittsburgh to only allow 11 shots (think about that,) just imagine what they'll do to our vaunted perimeter passing attack) and Nolan will be re-evaluated tomorrow. Stay Classy Cal Clutterbuck, even though you need to start shooting more.
The requisite "aww" moments from yesterday are this; Stephane Veilleux's smooch on James Sheppard on the Glendale Arena kiss cam, and childhood friends Colton Gillies and Phoenix' Kyle Turris living out their NHL dream against each other.
